My name is Joy and I am a Readaholic! The summer before 11th grade I read all of the romance novels in the Manhasset Public Library. Some of my recent faves are Midnight by Sister Souljah (can't wait for the sequel), American Wife by Curtis Sittenfeld (interesting perspective about Laura Bush and family), My Sister's Keeper by Jodi Picoult (touching and in theatres) and Chasing Harry Winston by Lauren Weisberger (author of Devil Wears Prada). I'm currently reading Julie & Julia by Julie Powell (in theatres also).

So somehow there are a million things to do in a day. I have to make picking up the laptop a habit  (they it takes 21 days to form a habit). When I start writing it's usually because I have material. But then "my material" disturbs me and I tell myself I am going to do this later. How do I believe the same lie every day? Finally... no excuses! Uncut! I come to you as I am.  Like, what is wrong like being a Celebrity in your own mind? My life is full and I want to share it with you. Don't worry, I know who I am!
